Culture Web
The Culture Web is a powerful tool that can be used to help identify and described both the current and desired organization culture. It provides focus on five key areas of organization activity and is based on the work of Johnson & Scholes:
- control systems
- organizational structures
- power structures
- symbols
- rituals and routines
Qualitative input can be obtained through interviews, focus groups and observation methods. Meanwhile, quantitative input can be obtained through well-designed questionnaires
Use the Culture Web Tool during the Culture Change Analysis change management process within the Supportive Organization and Culture best practice area.
By identifying and understanding the organisation’s culture, change leaders will be better equipped to develop effective strategies to bring about the desired cultural changes.
